JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective:
The machine operator position operates machine shop equipment to create parts for the assembly of products manufactured by the company.

Essential Functions:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
1. Performs typical machine shop operations to support the assembly floor.
2. Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
3. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
4. Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required per the P.M. charts.
5. Must be able to perform but not limited to the following tasks: milling, turning, drilling, taping, de-burring, molding and all bench operations and inspect.
6. Must be familiar with the basic machine functions in order to perform the tasks stated above.
7. Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance with regard to machine set-up.

Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds utilizing the buddy system for safety. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Summary/Objective:
The Assembler performs repetitive manual assembly and or will machine items for the production assembly operations to mass-produce componets or to assemble those components into completed products. The Assembler follows established procedures to ensure assembly meets all ISO requirements, stated tolerances, and required inspection criteria by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform assembly using hand or power tools for fitting, filing, reaming, riveting, crimping, swaging, adjusting, and inspection.
• Detect defective or incorrect parts and request replacement.
• Use simple measuring gauges, scales, calipers, dial indicators, universal load testing fixture.
• Performs on-line and in-process visual inspection of products to ensure they meet specifications per Traveler and procedure instructions.
• Operates various assemble machinery.
• Stocks assembly parts as needed to keep assembly line running.
• Ensures product assembled meets quality standards and reports defects or problems to their Team Lead.
• Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the team lead or supervisor.
• Report all unusual conditions to the Production Tech and/or Supervisor.
• Participate as a team member and work to continually improve all aspects of our business.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and work instructions.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
• Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required.

Summary/Objective:
The Fabricator operates fabricating machines such as cutoff saws, shears, rolls, brakes, presses, forming machines, spinning machines and punches that cut shape and bend metal plates, sheets, tubes and structures by performing the following duties.

Essential Functions
● Operates fabrication shop and machine shop machinery and equipment.
● Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements
● Sets stops or guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule, or template.
● Observes machine operation to detect part defects or machine malfunction.
● Measures parts dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation.
● Removes burrs, sharp edges, rust or scale from parts.
● Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders, and shapers.
● Verifies conformance of finished part to specifications.
● Follow company safety procedures and embrace culture of safety within the machine shop.
● Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required.

Fabricator 1
● Operates and adjust fabrication machines
● Perform standard and repetitive operations of fabrication
● Entry level knowledge of operations including cutoff saws, shears, rolls, brakes, presses, forming spinning machines and punches that cut shape and bend metal plates, etc.
● Ability to follow written instructions and read basic blueprint specifications

Fabricator 2
● Sets-up, adjusts, and checks machines for the days part production
● Able to perform a series of progressive fabrication operation
● Operates and adjust fabrication equipment to exacting standards and specifications.
● Check parts conformance to specification
● Intermediate knowledge of fabrication techniques and methods for fabrication.
● Works from finished instructions, operational data and machine setup instructions
● Intermediate level knowledge of operations including drilling, boring, and milling, turning, etc.
● Ability to follow written instructions and read basic blueprint specifications
● Two plus years of experience.

Fabricator 3
● Has broad knowledge of fabrication and machining techniques
● Able to perform a series of progressive fabrication operation
● Able to operate two or machines at the same time with little to no help
● Capable of intermediate to advanced setup machines with no supervision
● Capable of fabricating parts with close and exact tolerances and specification requiring a high degree of skill.
● Check parts conformance to specification
● Ability to follow written instructions and read technical blueprint specifications
● Five plus years of experience
