QMS Certification: Benchmark of Excellence

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has published more than 21,000 international standards and documents that cover nearly every industry and millions of companies in 170 countries around the world.

ISO 9001:2008 — and its most recent update, ISO 9001:2015 — establishes criteria for a quality management system and is the only standard in the ISO family that can be certified to. This standard is based on a number of quality management system principles, including:

  • A strong customer focus

  • The motivation and implication of top management

  • The process approach

  • Continual improvement

Companies who obtain and retain this QMS certification reap the rewards that stem from a customer base that knows they’ll get consistent, high quality products and services.
