I’ve been doing tech rescue, (confined space, high angle, trench, work at height) for many years. 26 yrs as a career firefighter and now doing (private) tech rescue standby and training and this little (BIG) SOFS is the one piece of equipment that I will always continue to fall back on. In this industry/occupation things are changing daily but the ease and simplicity and reliability of this SOF and its unlimited uses and reliability will ALWAYS have a place in my first in gear bag. I can’t think of any way to improve this, if it ain’t broke no need to fix it however, if and when it’s decided to take it to another level I will try that too, but never will I get rid of my “old reliables”..!
